Radio Duta Nusantara (RDN) was established on September 1997 in Sydney, Australia and started broadcasting on air on the 2 March 1998. Members of RDN consist of volunteers with Indonesians as well as Australians background. The main reason for establishing RDN is to convey useful information to the community in Bahasa Indonesia. Radio Duta Nusantara is broadcasting under the Multicultutral Radio Association 2000FM (MCRA) community radio station in Sydney, dedicated for non-English speaking listeners. The broadcast covers most of Sydney metropolitan area which approximately is 200-250 kilometres in radius.
